Overview

Urban Youth Development Program in partnership with Gujarat Urban Development Mission

Government of Gujarat has designated GUDM (Gujarat Urban Development Mission ) as the Nodal Agency for implementing the Urban Mission for Employment and Entrepreneurship Development – Urban Youth Employment Program in the cities and towns of the state.

The Goal of UMEED is to identify and make available the potential livelihood options to vulnerable and poor youth in the age group of 18 to 35 years and train them in skills according to the market requirements, thereby working towards achieving the goals of poverty reduction and employability.
