Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam’s visit to CAP Foundation, Hyderabad for an interactive session with Young People
Dr APJ Abdul Kalam visited CAP Foundation on August 2, 2008 at Hyderabad and had an hour long interactive session with around 300 students and trainees of CAP’s various programs like Teen Channel, Vocational College, Employability Training Ek Mouka and Madrasa program. The program also included a question answers session whereby the students asked Dr. Kalam questions like-Who has been your greatest inspiration in life?
Being from a poor family background how did you manage your financial & educational life so well? Agriculture is the backbone of Indian economy. Despite this why this sector is underestimated? Why do you feel so attached to/love children? What is your opinion about our Indian politics? What is your big dream for our country?etc

Dr. Abdul Kalam very patiently answered all the questions. On this occasion Dr. Kalam also released CAP’s digital kit on pre-vocational education for young people.

Mr. Cornellis M. Keur, the Consul General, Consulate General of USA, Hyderabad who was also present on this event also addressed the students.
